\u2019Twas the week before Christmas and here in my chair; I sat in the office, foul weather or fair.<\/em><\/p>\n

The world was at play, but clients might call; I kept myself reachable, for one or for all.<\/em><\/p>\n

And, lo, I was right, for I soon heard a voice; That rose from the back of a shiny Rolls-Royce.<\/em><\/p>\n

It was a rich client, I\u2019m happy to say; But he seemed upset, in a very bad way.<\/em><\/p>\n

He stood at my desk, then he glared straight at me; Demanded we talk about me and my fee.<\/em><\/p>\n

Hands on his hips, then a finger he points, I could sense there was pain in his weary, old joints.<\/em><\/p>\n

We have a bull market, it\u2019s lasted 10 years. My stocks are at highs, erasing my fears.<\/em><\/p>\n

The papers all say that commissions are dead. But I\u2019m paying you, why? I\u2019m sick in the head.<\/em><\/p>\n

If I trade online, I\u2019ve heard it\u2019s all free. I then got a chill \u2014 was he bailing on me?<\/em><\/p>\n

But fair the man was said he\u2019d give me a chance; To state my reasons, he wants me to dance.<\/em><\/p>\n

You\u2019re in managed money. It\u2019s pay as you go. Invest on your own, then you reap what you sow.<\/em><\/p>\n

Yes, I will admit, day trading is fun; But it\u2019s smart to sit tight, and let winners run.<\/em><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been up front on the fees that you pay; And you\u2019ve gotten discounts, quite many I\u2019d say.<\/em><\/p>\n

Your accountant likes me, I call once in a while; Yet we talk quite often, I\u2019m on her speed dial.<\/em><\/p>\n

His manner changed, he started to smile; Questions were answered, I went that extra mile.<\/em><\/p>\n

I kept my calm, while he put up a fight. The account would stay here, and he bid me good night.<\/em><\/p>\n
